History of TecMan International
The history of TecMan International is based on a journey of decades. It has a strong legacy of more than three decades and has evolved into a trusted name in the poultry and dairy sectors of Pakistan.
In 1998, TecMan International was established in Rawalpindi, near Islamabad, by Mr. Daud Ahmad Chaudhary and his son, Mr. Saqib Daud Chaudhary. The company initially focused on supplying industrial chemicals to sugar mills.
Expansion into the Poultry Sector
In 1990, the company expanded into poultry medicines and vaccines, marking a significant milestone in its growth. TecMan became the sole distributor of several renowned international companies, introducing high-quality products to the local market.
Strategic Partnerships and Growth
TecMan International established strong partnerships with globally recognized companies, including:
- Dopharma (Holland) – Successfully marketed Colisol, which became a leading product in the poultry sector.
- Vineland Laboratories Inc., MBL (Maine Biological Laboratories), and Tri-Bio Laboratories Inc. (USA) – Introduced poultry-killed vaccines and locally developed solutions for hydro-pericardium.
- Following their merger into Lohmann Animal Health (Germany) in 1996, TecMan seamlessly transitioned its registrations.
- Sanofi / Abbott Laboratories & Bedson S.A. (Argentina) – Promoted Fosbac Plus T, a market-leading fosfomycin product in poultry.
- Animal Science Products (USA) – Developed strong market presence with Vac Pac Plus, a globally recommended vaccine stabilizer.
- Faber Chemicals (Turkey) – Served as sole distributor for poultry disinfectants.
Modern Era and Expansion
In 2020, the third generation joined the business, bringing fresh perspectives and modern management approaches.
Today, TecMan International employs over 200 professionals and operates branch offices in major cities across Pakistan. With a strong distribution network and technical expertise, the company continues to support the livestock sector with innovative and reliable solutions.
